Limited Frequency Range Observations of Cosmological Point Sources

چکیده
This paper discusses observational relations for cosmological point sources in some specific waveband, and their use in the context of the data provided by the galaxy redshift surveys. By starting from the general theory for observations in relativistic cosmology, developed mainly by G. F. R. Ellis, the equations for colour, K-correction and number counts of cosmological point sources are discussed in the context of curved spacetimes. These observables can be directly related to the underlying curved geometry of cosmological models, and since they were not derived in the framework of any specific cosmology, they are therefore valid for any cosmological model. The hypothesis used in such derivation are discussed, together with some difficulties of the practical use of those observables.

Cosmological argument in proving the existence of God from Imam Khomeini's (RA) point of view
This article reviews Cosmological argument in proving the existence of God from the viewpoint of Imam Khomeini (RA). At first, various views to the existence of God are reviewed and then its etymology will be reviewed. Cosmological argument proves God through universal premises about truth and world and and the Movement Argument, Casual Argument and Necessity and Possibility Argument are dif...
متن کاملExtragalactic Point Sources and the Planck Surveyor Mission
We review estimates of small scale fluctuations due to extragalactic point sources in the Planck Surveyor frequency bands. While our undestanding of the spectral and evolutionary properties of these sources is far from complete, conservative estimates allow us to confidently conclude that, in the frequency range 100–200 GHz, their contaminating effect is well below the expected anisotropy level...
متن کاملSunyaev-Zeldovich effect in WMAP and its effect on cosmological parameters
We use multi-frequency information in first year WMAP data to search for the Sunyaev-Zeldovich (SZ) effect. WMAP has sufficiently broad frequency coverage to constrain SZ without the addition of higher frequency data: the SZ power spectrum amplitude is expected to increase 50% from W to Q frequency band. This, in combination with the low noise in WMAP, allows us to strongly constrain the SZ con...
متن کاملSpatial filtering of interfering signals at the 3 initial Low Frequency Array ( LOFAR ) phased 4 array test station
10 [1] The Low Frequency Array (LOFAR) is a radio telescope currently being designed. Its 11 targeted observational frequency window lies in the range of 10–250 MHz. In frequency 12 bands in which there is interference, the sensitivity of LOFAR can be enhanced by 13 interference mitigation techniques. In this paper we demonstrate spatial filtering 14 capabilities at the LOFAR initial test stati...
متن کاملThe transition energy and the beaming angle of converted LO-mode waves from 100 to 400 kHz through density gradient according to observations of kilometric continuum radiations in the plasmapause
The satellite observations such as the Cluster mission with four-point measurements show some local fluctuations in the density gradient in the vicinity of the plasmapause. These structures are found over a broad range of spatial scales, with a size from 20 to 5000 km. Also, the simultaneous observations of the kilometric continuum by IMAGE (Imager for Magnetopause-to-Aurora Global Exploration)...
